Nella Repubblica Ceca, il distributore di ElectraTherm per l'Europa orientale, GB Consulting, ha messo in funzione la macchina a febbraio in un impianto di biogas per convertire il calore di scarto in energia e aumentare l'efficienza energetica del sito. Ad oggi, la macchina ha mantenuto un tempo di attivit\u00e0 di oltre 95%.<\/p>\n<p>Il Power+ \u00e8 stato aggiunto a una centrale elettrica a biogas esistente che produce 900kWe. I due motori a combustione interna MWM sono dotati di uno scambiatore di calore per i gas di scarico, progettato per combinare il calore disponibile nei gas di scarico e il calore disponibile nell'acqua della camicia in un unico flusso di calore. Il mais e il letame vengono caricati in una tramoggia autoalimentata. Dalla tramoggia, la biomassa risultante viene pompata nel digestore, dove viene prodotto metano attraverso la digestione anaerobica. Il metano alimenta a sua volta i motori. Con l'aggiunta del Power+, il calore in eccesso viene utilizzato per generare circa 5% in pi\u00f9 di elettricit\u00e0 e riduce l'elettricit\u00e0 necessaria per espellere questo calore in eccesso attraverso le ventole dei radiatori. In questo modo si riduce la richiesta di energia elettrica del cliente e si migliora l'economia del sito.<\/p>\n<p>ElectraTherm utilizza il Ciclo Rankine Organico e tecnologie brevettate per generare elettricit\u00e0 dal calore residuo. Il processo inizia con l'ingresso di acqua calda a 86-92\u00b0C nel Power+, dove riscalda un fluido di lavoro in un vapore pressurizzato. Il vapore ad alta pressione si espande attraverso il blocco di potenza a doppia vite brevettato da ElectraTherm, facendo girare un generatore elettrico con una potenza massima di 50 kWe. Dopo la rotazione dell'espansore, il vapore viene condensato in un liquido grazie a un condensatore esterno raffreddato ad aria.
