El resultado es un producto utilizable y comercializable cuya demanda est\u00e1 creciendo en todo el mundo.<\/p>\n<p>La producci\u00f3n de biocarb\u00f3n mediante pir\u00f3lisis o gasificaci\u00f3n es uno de los m\u00e9todos de captura y almacenamiento de carbono (CAC) m\u00e1s sencillos, cuantificables y rentables que existen en la actualidad. La producci\u00f3n de biocarb\u00f3n genera una enorme cantidad de calor, entre 350 y 900 \u00b0C, que a menudo se pierde en el medio ambiente si no se reutiliza en el proceso. Capturar y utilizar ese calor a\u00f1ade valor a su operaci\u00f3n cuando se reutiliza o se convierte en electricidad utilizable. Al ser recursos renovables y de crecimiento relativamente r\u00e1pido, son buenas soluciones para la captura de carbono, una oportunidad de negocio cada vez mayor tanto para los agricultores como para los productores de biocarb\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El biocarb\u00f3n como producto es una soluci\u00f3n comercial a escala industrial que permite el secuestro de carbono. Dado que las materias primas (paja, hierbas, c\u00e1scaras de frutos secos, esti\u00e9rcol, etc.) se conocen bien y se producen a gran escala, el valor de los cr\u00e9ditos de carbono del biocarb\u00f3n suele ser bastante atractivo. Este ciclo econ\u00f3mico es lo suficientemente s\u00f3lido como para que no resulte dif\u00edcil encontrar intermediarios especializados en la venta de cr\u00e9ditos de carbono procedentes del biocarb\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Una de las ventajas de la eliminaci\u00f3n de carbono mediante biocarb\u00f3n es que es permanente. Una vez que la planta captura el carbono y lo transforma en biocarb\u00f3n, \u00e9ste es extremadamente estable y duradero.
