Die Maschine erzeugt 50 kW (brutto) Strom aus geothermischem Hei\u00dfwasser (216\u00b0F\/102\u00b0C) ohne jeglichen Brennstoff oder Emissionen. Um die Effizienz der Anwendung weiter zu steigern, wird das geothermische Wasser, nachdem es durch die W\u00e4rmetauscher geflossen ist, um die Power+-Arbeitsfl\u00fcssigkeit unter Druck zu setzen, im Winter zur Beheizung nahe gelegener Wohngeb\u00e4ude verwendet.<\/p>\n<p>Der Power+ von ElectraTherm nutzt die Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC)-Technologie zur Stromerzeugung bei niedrigen Temperaturen, die mit anderen Technologien nicht erreicht werden k\u00f6nnen. Zun\u00e4chst wird hei\u00dfes Wasser in den Power+ geleitet, um eine Arbeitsfl\u00fcssigkeit zu Dampf zu kochen. Der unter hohem Druck stehende Dampf expandiert durch den patentierten Doppelschrauben-Powerblock von ElectraTherm und treibt dabei einen elektrischen Generator an. Nach der Drehung des Doppelschneckenexpanders wird der Dampf mit Hilfe eines externen luftgek\u00fchlten Kondensators wieder in eine Fl\u00fcssigkeit kondensiert.
