Bei der Herstellung von Biokohle entsteht eine enorme W\u00e4rmemenge von 350 bis 900 \u00b0C, die oft an die Umwelt abgegeben wird, wenn sie nicht im Prozess wiederverwendet wird. Das Auffangen und die Nutzung dieser W\u00e4rme bringt einen Mehrwert f\u00fcr Ihren Betrieb, wenn sie wiederverwendet oder in nutzbaren Strom umgewandelt wird.  Die Betriebskosten k\u00f6nnen normalisiert und vorhersehbar sein.  Die Kosten f\u00fcr die im Betrieb verbrauchte Energie k\u00f6nnen gesenkt, abgeflacht und im Laufe der Zeit vorhersehbar gemacht werden, da die Energie nur von der W\u00e4rmemenge abh\u00e4ngt und nicht von den Preisen des Versorgungsnetzes. Da die Rohstoffe (z. B. Stroh, Gr\u00e4ser, Nussschalen, Dung usw.) gut bekannt sind und in gro\u00dfen Mengen produziert werden, ist der Wert der Kohlenstoffgutschriften aus Biokohle in der Regel recht attraktiv.
