Ken Fox (no relation to John Fox, ElectraTherm’s CEO) joined ElectraTherm’s Board of Directors in early 2012. Most recently, Ken was President, Americas & Chief Marketing Officer for solar PV manufacturer Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. Prior to that, he had a 19 year career with United Technologies Corporation where he held key leadership positions at UTC’s Stationary Power business, which developed distributed generation solutions and provided energy efficiency services, and at Carrier Corporation, UTC’s division focused on HVAC, refrigeration and building automation solutions. Earlier in his career, Ken provided project financing to the energy industry while at Bank of America, and developed large-scale energy projects globally at ExxonMobil. He has an M.S. in Management from the M.I.T. Sloan School and an engineering degree from Northeastern University.
Paul Dickerson, an attorney and investment banker, is a recognized leader and sought-after speaker on all matters related to energy. He practices law with Mintz Levin’s Corporate & Securities Section in Boston, while also working as a managing director for the investment bank of WoodRock & Co. in Houston. Formerly, he served as chief operating officer of the US Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. He oversaw a $2 billion annual budget while managing the international commercialization of advanced energy solutions like bio-fuels, and solar, wind, and efficiency technologies. He also served as chief of staff for the Foreign Commercial Service at the US Department of Commerce, where he managed a worldwide network of 1,700 employees in 260 offices. A certified public accountant with licenses under the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Dickerson frequently discusses energy, investing, politics, business, private equity, and international trade on the media circuit.
Dr. Steffen Hauff is CEO and President of APROVIS Energy Systems GmbH. Steffen founded APROVIS in 2000, specializing in stationary engine exhaust gas heat utilization and gas drying systems for cogeneration and combined heat and power plants (CHP). APROVIS offers tailor-made solutions for each project, covering all the major stationary engine brands. Over the last 14 years APROVIS has become one of the market leaders in Europe and increasingly operates worldwide with more than 100 employees. Steffen studied at the University of Stuttgart, Germany, and is a Graduated Engineer of Mechanical Engineering in the major fields of applied thermodynamic and mechanical design.
